Vendor Guidelines

GUIDELINES FOR THE INDOOR LESLIEVILLE FLEA

1. Vendor Parking and Unloading
Setup for the Flea begins at 8am. Please check in with Brigid or Chris upon arrival to get your assigned booth space.
There are a limited number of spaces in the parking lot for loading and unloading.  If you secure a spot please unload as quickly as possible and then move your car so others can use the lot. 
Please try to have your booth set up by 9:45 in anticipation of the Flea opening.
Vendors are responsible for parking their cars lawfully.  The Flea takes no responsibility for vendor vehicles while loading/unloading or while selling at the Flea.
Vendors are responsible for providing their own  tables, chairs etc as well as set up.

2. Market Etiquette
a. As a general rule of consideration, a vendor will not do anything at or near a
vendors stand or elsewhere in the Market that will cause a nuisance to other
vendors or the public, whether by noise, debris, smell or otherwise
b. Effort should be made to make booth and product display attractive and vendors should treat customers professionally and courteously at all times
c. Vendors are required to provide a clean and sanitary environment.
d. Pets must be left at home.
e .If you sell out, and are leaving early, please do so with a minimum of
disruption to your neighbours and their customers.

3. License and Special Requirements
a. Vendors are responsible for informing themselves about and complying with
Provincial, and Federal health and licensing requirements  governing the production, display, distribution, sampling and sale of their products.
b. The Leslieville Flea is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
c. All food vendors must have a copy of their Food Handler's Certificate and "Green Pass"licence

4. Clean Up
It is the responsibility of all Vendors to leave their vending space free of any
garbage at the end of the day.

5. Payment
Indoor Spaces:  the cost for a one day rental of a 10x10 space is $100, 1/2 spaces are 5x10 and cost $75.  Vendors required to bring their own tables etc.
Vendor applications are reviewed on a month to month basis and availability can change at any time.
Vendor Fees are non-refundable.  Cancellations are the responsibility of the vendor. If vendors cancel, the payment cannot be carried forward to another month.
We encourage payment through secure Interac E-Transfer. If paying by cash or cheque please email us at leslievilleflea@gmail.com to arrange payment (please make cheques payable to Leslieville Flea).   All payments are non-refundable and should be received no later than two weeks prior to the scheduled date of the Leslieville Flea. 

6.  Marketing
Organizers of the Leslieville Flea will be responsible for marketing through social media and other outlets.  We encourage individual vendors to market the Flea and spread the word through their own personal and business contacts. 

Vendors agree to allow the Leslieville Flea use of vendor websites and photos of vendor products to promote the Leslieville Flea.
