Found at the Leslieville Flea - Mickey Mouse club box

Ahhh....the joys of toys.....some happy shoppers leaving the Leslieville Flea with a 1950/60's Mickey Mouse collectible purchased at Mies en Scence (www.miesenscene.com) to be used as a toy box  in their little girls room.

Thinking back to my son's extensive collection of toys, I predict they will need another box soon. Good thing there's another Leslieville Flea just around the corner on August 18th!

Found at the Leslieville Flea

Purchased from Douglas and Son by Jeff Newberry Sunday at the Leslieville Flea....A vintage map of. northern Ontario.

"I bought the map for my wife Laura. Specifically because it included the Parry Sound harbour and all the surrounding islands. In particular, McClaren island on Five Mile Bay which is where Lauras family cottage is. Once I brought it home, we realized that it was the exact same 1972 edition of the map that had been hanging on the cottage wall since before she was born, so that made it special"

Nicely done Jeff...........Stay tuned for more Found at the Leslieville Flea

Vendor Profile; The Leslieville Flea weclomes Joan Hutton July 21st behind the Duke

"The camera makes everyone a tourist in other people's reality, and eventually in one's own"
(Susan Sontag)

The Leslieville Flea is very excited to have Joan Hutton participate in the Leslieville Flea July 21st behind the Duke tavern.  As a Director of Photography in the Film and T.V. world for almost forty years Joan has accumulated a huge collection of vintage cameras. With little or no room to store her collection she has decided it's time to sell.

Her collection spans the eras from 1910 to 1955.  Joan holds a special fondness for the old folding bellows cameras and special cameras, i.e. different colours, anniversary models, and unusual looking cameras. Most of the cameras still function and film stock is available by special order or possibly at places like Vistek. Very cool!

Joan also brings her one of a kind jewellery to the Leslieville Flea, designs inspired by her years in film. This is going to be special.
